MVGM launches the report corresponding to the first quarter of 2022, a quarter marked by the post-pandemic recovery scenario in which we have continued with our philosophy of work and adaptation to changes.
The report highlights, among other data, that openings in shopping centers of stores intended for services have more than doubled those of 2021. Also, the upward trend in footfall during these first months, since, in January, footfall increased by 16.27%; in February, by 43.67% and in March, by 13.21%.
Thus, the data collected by our team reflect that, although the trend to establish a hybrid model of work is still the most used model, there has been a strong increase of 109% in companies opting to abandon teleworking altogether.
It is also worth noting the increase in the price of home sales and a substantial growth in hotel occupancy compared to the same period in 2021.
